Located in the Brooklyn Lyceum at 4th Avenue and Union Street, El Cafetin is a great stop for morning caffination before hoppping on the R at Union Street.

If you have time to linger, El Cafetin also has plenty of seating and FREE WI-FI, so it's perfect for surfing the web while you're on the go.

John Alexander, formerly of the popular Upper East Side coffee shop, Java Girl, has recreated that shop's inviting atmosphere minus the kitch and with the addition of latin beats.

I used to be a Java Girl patron when I worked in the UES neighborhood and as soon as John saw me in El Cafetin he struck up a conversation like no time had passed at all (in reality it had been 2+ years!)

So for good coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere make your next stop El Cafetin.
